Seth Thomas "Parlor Calendar #8"
Perpetual double dial calendar. 8-day spring time and strike movement. A separate calendar movement automatically adjusts for the days of the month.
Walnut case is beautiful with carved top and columns. Wavy glass with nickel plated bezels. Concentric circle trim pieces look like maple. Back of case is stamped "5881H", so the clock was made in 1885.
Painted dials, time on top, bottom shows the day of the month, day of the week and month. Top dial is signed "Seth Thomas", "Manufacturered in the United States of America". Bottom is signed "Patented Feb 15, 1876".
Nice labels on inside of case.
