French Sevres Porcelain
Georgeous french clock under dome.
Heavy metal case with excellent gold gilding. According to previous owners the porcelain is Sevres, very desirable due to the vibrant color and intricate detail, but fragile due to the softness of the materials. Cobalt blue dial with black on white roman numbers, center multicolored flowers. Matching blue and flower pattern on panel below dial and top decoration. Base is black painted wood. Markings on the movement that I have not yet investigated.
Not a silk string pendulum so this is likely mid 1800's. No cracks or repairs that I can find. Amazing condition.
